SONS OF THE DAY – NEW DAY
Come and be renewed by a concert of a cappella music that spans centuries and continents, but remains relevant to our day and age. Sons of the Day presents a concert entitled ÒNew DayÓ at Park View Mennonite Church on December 3 at 7:00pm.
Matthew Hunsberger, co-founder and Music Director, says ÒThe New Day concert represents the work that we've done in the past year since we began to sing together. . . . most of the program is new material, and reflects the kind of creative, challenging music that we enjoy investing time in. The tunes and the lyrics range from medieval to contemporary pop a cappella, and from South African, Argentine, and Irish to American Shaker and Folk songs from various times and places. New Day is a concert of hope and features a set of songs celebrating the Christmas story.Ó
Admission to the concert is $7 for adults, $5 for senior citizens, and $3 for students and children. Light refreshments are served following the concert.
