Aaron has been singing in a cappella groups since the eighth grade. He developed his tenor voice at Lancaster Mennonite High School through the Junior Chorale, Vocal Ensemble, and Campus Chorale.

At Eastern Mennonite University Aaron continued musical pursuits, singing under Ken Nafziger in the Chamber Singers for four years.

Singing in the men’s a cappella group known as Full Table was perhaps the second coolest thing Aaron has ever done.

The first, of course, was getting married to the lovely Laura Souder. They reside in a little cape cod on a hill in Harrisonburg, VA. Their household recently expanded by one with the birth of their daughter, Abigail.

Laura is a nurse at Rockingham Memorial Hospital, and Aaron teaches English to speakers of other languages for Rockingham County Public Schools. They enjoy sharing a hymnal at Zion Mennonite Church on Sunday mornings.

Within the past several years, Aaron has traveled to every continent except Australia and Antarctica. He plans to add those to his list sometime before the next century.

Aaron enjoys the outdoors, reading, spending time with his cats, Simon and Felix, and making his little girl smile.
