Singers
Luke Roth-Mullet
Tenor, Harrisonburg, VA
Luke's parents are Bob and Janie Mullet of Hesston, Kansas. He has one sister, Rachel who resides in Boulder, Colorado. Luke is overjoyed to announce his engagement to Sarah Roth of Goshen, Indiana. They look forward with eager anticipation towards their wedding in August!
Luke's musical career started as an instrumentalist in Paoli, Indiana where he played French Horn and Mellophone in the elementary and high school bands. Luke was fortunate enough to be brought up in a music focused school system and played in two Indiana state championship high school marching bands. Luke also marched in high profile events such as the movie "Blue Chips" and the Disney World parade.
Luke began his vocal career as a sophomore at Hesston High School in Hesston Kansas. Singing in numerous choirs and musicals throughout high school, Luke went on to sing in the Hesston College Chamber Singers and helped form a small men's ensemble "Emancipation" (along with SOTD member Clay Showalter) while a student at Hesston College. Luke continued his singing while at Eastern Mennonite University singing with the University Chamber Singers under the direction of Ken Nafziger. Along with Clay and Matt of SOTD, Luke was fortunate enough to be an original member of the Harrisonburg men's group "Full Table" with which he sang until graduating from Eastern Mennonite University in 2001. Most recently, Luke sang several seasons with a men's ensemble out of Goshen College named "Stabat."
Luke is excited to join with long time musical soul brothers Clay and Matt in their latest vocal effort, and thanks the many fans of SOTD for their fantastic support of a cappella music.
